FWA decision will cause industrial “carnage”: AMMA
4:21pm Thursday 02 June 2011 - Human Resources Leader Fair Work Australia has rejected an appeal by employer group AMMA, who were fighting against a decision to allow workers the right to protected industrial action without the need for bargaining. ACTU Secretary, Jeff Lawrence said that the ruling was a win for Australian workers, but AMMA (Australian Mines and Metals Association) chief executive Steve Knott refuted the decision, and said that it would cause “carnage”.
