Job Vacancies Up in July
1:49pm Monday 02 August 2010 - Capital Jobs The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) Vacancy Report shows that the Skilled Vacancy Index (SVI) increased by 0.3% to 46.4 in July. Vacancies fell for two of the three occupational groups: Associate Professionals (-1.4%) and Professionals (-1.1%) while Trades increased by 1.0% over the month. Unemployment steady, employment indicator and job ads rise

Paid Parental Leave Scheme Bill Passed
